He draws on his extensive experience in numerous types of therapy including:
- Acupuncture (classical and medical)
- Nutritional support
- Training in the use of stress-reduction and mind-body techniques including deep relaxation, meditation, self-hypnosis, biofeedback, bodywork, and guided imagery

Philosophy
By studying both Western and Oriental medicine as well as human nutrition and mind/body medicine, Dr. Rossman has learned that there are many ways to support the healing abilities that are built into each of us. He believes that there are often safe and effective natural approaches that work as well as or better than pharmaceutical medicine. He also believes that modern medicine sometimes offers unprecedented benefits, and has developed expertise in helping people integrate natural healing with Western medical approaches. Utilizing a humanistic and holistic approach to healthcare, Dr. Rossman values patients' self-knowledge and willingness to learn more about health and healing.
Quotation
"The power of the mind to heal is vast. A great deal of medical research shows that guided imagery can relieve stress, pain, and anxiety; reduce complications from surgery and medical procedures; and stimulate healing responses in the body. Imagery also leads to greater mind/body awareness and gives you a powerful set of tools for changing your life to support your health."
