In building a business, we can sometimes feel like we need to take on every new client that comes our way.  Selecting customers that are "perfect" seems to be really picky.  However, there is a book called "Attracting Perfect Customers," by Stacey Hall and Jan Brogniez and it works.  When I created my Strategic Attraction Plan out of the book, the very next day I got a new client that perfectly fit my description and they keep coming!

There are practical reasons for choosing perfect customers.  This will increase customer satisfaction because the clients that you will be working with need the products and services you want to supply.  You can also save time by not working with difficult clients who take up more of your time. 

Have you written a business plan?  Many sole practitioners believe it is not necessary to have a business plan.  Whether you are just starting a business or have an already established business, it is always a good idea to have an up-to-date business plan.  A business plan is simply a roadmap to achieving your professional goals.  It can also reflect your personal values.  This is a way to gain an understanding of who you are in business. 

When we think about business, we often believe it is outside mind-body-spirit.  I am discovering that the more I express my authentic self, the more I attract new customers.  Recently the Dalai Lama was in the Bay Area speaking.  Although I missed the speach I did hear that he spoke about Authentic Success.  This important message reached me without me being present.

This is exciting news!  This means I can express myself without reservation in my business and through this, success will be present in my life.  Or better yet, suceess is already present, it is up to me to believe it.  How wonderful it is to feel successful today.
