Soul Spark of the day
Better keep yourself clean and bright.  You are the window through you must see the world. ~George Bernard Shaw

Lighten Up! (mental and/or physical pointers to lighten your day:-)

  • Try the following mantra in lieu of annoyance or stress today: I am a vibrantly healthy person. (say it repeatedly to yourself - fake it till you make it:-)
  • Get your oink on:-): http://thesunshinechronicles.blogspot.com/2007/02/embrace-your-inner-pig.html

Email check-in
(note: you may feel nothing, that is something...take note)
1. How was your energy level throughout the day?
2. Hunger level (did it fill you up? too hard to drink? Hungry an hour
later?)
3. Cravings (how were cravings throughout the day? what were they if any?)
4. Did you drink your eight glasses of water?
5. Are you noticing any changes in your sleep/stress patterns?
6. Are you noticing any physical changes (ie. skin, weight, etc.)

dearest team health

dearest team health on'ers... i have to say, amy's story about the blender made me laugh so hard... i think it digested the meal to a more "ultimate" higher source. now, i have to be honest and say i think your mid-morning was my morning... meaning, i kind of slept in this morning. maybe i can blame it on the "cosmic transition" i feel myself going through, or the freezing new york dark weather. so, the meal didn't happen till about 10:00am after walking the dog, etc etc. i used a brand smacking new blender i forgot i bought last fall, never used (i felt that was a good symbol.) here's where i went wrong... to much water. i just poured a glass of water in, with three ice cubes. after blending (which made my new blender smoke), i had a drainy green drink. i had about two big glasses to get down, and it was hard because that's a lot of green water. i measured the water afterwards to see how best to improve tomorrow am, so hopefully i'll be ok. is it normal to feel kind of worse? i don't know if i can blame it on the ultimate, or if it's just monday morning and again the "cosmic transition", but i kind of felt like i had a hangover headachy for a few hours afterward, maybe it was too much water? i also had the ultimate taste lingering in my mouth. it kind of made me a little turned off for the first couple hours. my energy level didn't necessarily go down, it just feel weird, achy. hunger level was fine. ate a big lunch at 2pm. was happy to have solid food. cravings have actually been fine today (had big lunch.) i'm up to about 4 glasses of water... i'll finish my 8 by the end of the day. we'll see how sleep goes tonight. too early to tell about skin. see ya manana!

skipping

OK - Not sure if I'm doing this right... GREAT DAY!!! I believe I may have noted a small skip in my step - that or a leg twitch. I credit the ultimate meal with this as well as helping to get the dogs barking. Ruby benefited as well. In fact she made her first movement towards crawling today. Excited to see what tomorrow will bring. GO GREEN!

day 1 feedback

Well, I drank’r down. Wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be as I looked at the giant glass of purple slop before drinking it. To show my devotion to this project and the importance of surrounding yourself with supportive people, I share this complication/success story from this morning: After dumping all the stuff into the blender, I went to turn it on. Nothing happened. The blender was broken. I then took the blender full of ingredients to my wonderful neighbors’ house who was nice enough to help me out despite already being late for work. I dumped it into their blender. Lucky I did so at their house cuz they reminded me to add the water – that would’ve been nasty. J Anyway, like I said, it wasn’t bad. Here are the rest of my answers: 1. How was your energy level throughout the day? Better than most Mondays. 2. Hunger level (did it fill you up? too hard to drink? Hungry an hour later?) Yes, filled me up initially, got hungry mid-morning. 3. Cravings (how were cravings throughout the day? what were they if any?) Nothing specific. 4. Did you drink your eight glasses of water? Nah, about 4. 5. Are you noticing any changes in your sleep/stress patterns? Too early to tell. 6. Are you noticing any physical changes (ie. skin, weight, etc.) Too early to tell.
