Day 3

By Paige | Jun. 28, 2007 | 3 Comments|post a comment
Soul Spark of the day
It is simple - we are where we should be doing what we should be doing.  Otherwise we would be somewhere else doing something else.  ~Richard Stein

Lighten Up!
  • Try snacking on some almonds, celery and peanut butter, or carrots and hummus as a snack or drink a cup of tea at that mid-morning or afternoon lull time
  • The people from The Secret documentary will be on Oprah on Thursday.  if you have not seen this, do it now because everyone and their mother (literally) will be talking about it - GET YOUR SECRET ON HERE! www.thesecret.tv

Email check-in (note: you may feel nothing, that is something...take note)
1. How was your energy level throughout the day?
2. Hunger level (did it fill you up? too hard to drink? Hungry an hour
later?)
3. Cravings (how were cravings throughout the day? what were they if any?)
4. Did you drink your eight glasses of water?
5. Are you noticing any changes in your sleep/stress patterns?

energy

i added the secret ingredient this morning... organic frozen blueberry's... what a beautiful drink it was! i added just a toss and it made a delicious drink and a lovely color to add along to it. it helped with the after taste, and the good news is i felt much better this morning after drinking the ultimate. energy level went exceptionally down around 3:30-4:30. hunger level was ok till lunch. no immediate, particular cravings. i had a dream last night about the ultimate... waking up in the middle of the night to something about adding apples.. can you believe it! skin seems to be getting a little worse, may have to do with weather or hormones.

Day 3 feedback

Honestly, I’ve never peed so much or so often. Sorry for what was certainly TMI, but it’s true, and for the sake of science I feel compelled to disclose that fact. Ahhhh… As for the rest, I think I again put too much water/ice-cubes in creating far more purple gunk to drink than day 1. That said, I also cooked it for much longer today so it was easier to drink without excessive chewing (though I did chew some, Katie, just so to follow directions). As for the rest… Email check-in 1. How was your energy level throughout the day? Not bad at all in the morning, but I hit a serious post-lunch lull nearly passing out at my desk. 2. Hunger level (did it fill you up? too hard to drink? Hungry an hour later?) Filled me up nicely this morning – was appropriately hungry for lunch. 3. Cravings (how were cravings throughout the day? what were they if any?) All good. No cravings…for food, anyway. J 4. Did you drink your eight glasses of water? No, gotta improve there. 5. Are you noticing any changes in your sleep/stress patterns? Too early to tell if any trends. Definitely tired this afternoon, but was up late last night. 6. Are you noticing any physical changes (ie. skin, weight, etc.) Too early to tell.
