Day 4

By Paige | Jun. 28, 2007 | 4 Comments|post a comment

Hi Everyone. General consensus was that yesterday was low energy day (physically and mentally) for many of you.  It sounds like many of you may be experiencing some detoxing symptoms (ie.  fogginess, low energy. emotional) and evidently I lied - day 3 may not be the day it subsides - oops:-). Unfortunately it does get worse before it gets better. BUT, the lower the valley, the higher the peak:-) You are cleansing in some capacaity, so it is important to be gentle and kind with yourself.  Let yourself go (however that translates for you:-) Regarding water, why doesn't everyone shoot for 2 liters/bottles of water this morning and I will send an email reminder around 3 at which point you should shoot for one more. Hang in there you are doing amazing!  (note: if you really do not feel well and feel you need to stop, please do so - LISTEN TO YOUR BODY).

Lighten Up!
Treat yourself today - epsom salt bath, mani/pedi, read a book, or even a massage (call me for referrals)

Email check-in
1. How was your energy level throughout the day?
2. Hunger level (did it fill you up? too hard to drink? Hungry an hour
later?)
3. Cravings (how were cravings throughout the day? what were they if any?)
4. Did you drink your eight glasses of water?
5. Are you noticing any changes in your sleep/stress patterns?
6. Are you noticing any physical changes (ie. skin, weight, etc.)

congrats on 3lbs amy. that

congrats on 3lbs amy. that is great. again, while this was not the focus, it can clearly be a by-product. but the most important thing to check-in with is how is your body feeling.

Yall: The fountain that is

Yall: The fountain that is my body is feelin’ good. J Made my best smoothie thus far this morning. Hope I can replicate tomorrow. 1. How was your energy level throughout the day? Energy level has been pretty good today. Really tired at this time yesterday, but feeling good for now. 2. Hunger level (did it fill you up? too hard to drink? Hungry an hour later?) Was super hungry at lunch time. 3. Cravings (how were cravings throughout the day? what were they if any?) No specific cravings 4. Did you drink your eight glasses of water? No, but trying… 5. Are you noticing any changes in your sleep/stress patterns? I unfortunately stayed up late again last night which is not cool, but have been sleeping well once I get to it. 6. Are you noticing any physical changes (ie. skin, weight, etc.) Nothing to write home about.

the blueberries are adding

the blueberries are adding such a spazazz to the ultimate. felt ok after drinking it again today... i think my body is getting used to it a little. katie, fun news about the rewards the ultimate are bringing. glad to hear it. energy level was better today than yesterday. hunger level was ok. definitely ready for lunch. cravings ok. drank my water - bought "smart water" and i love it, and the marketing. the text message was great! sleep not great last night, but related to outer circumstances. no skin improvements, yet i hope:) paige, thanks much for leading and facilitating this "workshop." you're emails are fantastic.

Day 4 feedback

I have lost 3 lbs. Really. I noticed this morning that my clothes were looser and I got on the scale and was down three pounds. Now, I don't attribute all of that to The Ulti Meal. I started working out with a personal trainer 3 weeks ago on Tues/Thurs evenings. I have been working really hard and haven't dropped a pound since working with him. I think the Ulti Meal gave my body the jumpstart it needed to finally turn on my metabolism. Not to mention I am really hungry by 11am for lunch.. Tells me my metabolism has woken up from its coma. Very cool. Tina, glad to hear about the magic of the blueberry. Who knew such a tiny little fruit would change your life? Drinking more water, eating less chocolate and dropping a few L-B's. Can't complain. I am pretty damn sleepy at 3pm still. Maybe that why the Ulti Meal folks tell you to have 2 drinks a day...hmmmmmm?? > Email check-in > 1. How was your energy level throughout the day? Ok, until the brick wall at 3 pm stands in my way > 2. Hunger level (did it fill you up? too hard to > drink? Hungry an hour later?) Full after drinking between 6-7 am ....ready to eat my arm by 11am. > 3. Cravings (how were cravings throughout the day? > what were they if > any?) Less cravings for my usual afternoon piece of dark choc. Didn't even sound good to me yesterday. Does turning down chocolate make me less womanly? > 4. Did you drink your eight glasses of water? about 4 so far > 5. Are you noticing any changes in your sleep/stress > patterns? Once getting to sleep, its good. Worry prevents me from getting to sleep quickly. > 6. Are you noticing any physical changes (ie. skin, > weight, etc.) Dropping a few lbs is cool. >
