Day 5 - Halfway There!

By Paige | Jun. 28, 2007 | 3 Comments|post a comment

Clearly the tide has shifted and people are feeling good. Love it!! First of all, big props to Missy who despite a broken blender, lack of bananas and many a sleepless night still managed to get resourceful and prepare her own version of the drink. One morning straight (with some applesauce and water) and yesterday morning mixed with baby food (organic apple and banana of course). Now that is commitment!!! We are moving into the weekend and it is important to stay in the "feel good" place in your body. The emails will continue through the weekend, but understandable if you can't respond. Have a great weekend!!

Lighten Up

  • Since it has been posed, try experimenting with a second drink this weekend as a snack or meal if you really want to go hard core. No pressure of course and listen to your body because the detox factor will definitely be heightened.
  • Start giving some thoughts to some next steps/goals you would like to pursue (or not) after the challenge
  • Mix up your workout routine by doing something different or start a workout routine:-)

Email check-in
1. How was your energy level throughout the day?
2. Hunger level (did it fill you up? too hard to drink? Hungry an hour
later?)
3. Cravings (how were cravings throughout the day? what were they if any?)
4. Did you drink your eight glasses of water?
5. Are you noticing any changes in your sleep/stress patterns?
6. Are you noticing any physical changes (ie. skin, weight, etc.)

Day 5 feedback

Not going to lie, I’m sorta proud to have not only had UM for breakfast every day for five days in a row, but to have also eaten lunch every day this week. Some may think that that sounds ridiculous, but given the fact that this has been my busiest week on this job to date and the fact that I often forget to leave my office in the middle of the day to grab something/anything, makes me proud to have done so. Thanks for all the help thus far, coach and team. Oh, also, I broke in a brand new blender this morning! 1. How was your energy level throughout the day? Not bad. 2. Hunger level (did it fill you up? too hard to drink? Hungry an hour later?) Yep, filled me up for breakfast, and, once again, was totally ready to eat lunch. 3. Cravings (how were cravings throughout the day? what were they if any?) None. 4. Did you drink your eight glasses of water? Actually my worst day yet on this front. Meeting after meeting and sorta forgot. 5. Are you noticing any changes in your sleep/stress patterns? Actually did wake up a bit more ready to roll today, but might be because I had three drinks last night. Weird, I know. 6. Are you noticing any physical changes (ie. skin, weight, etc.) Nope. Have a great weekend, yall.
