The Double DishDrawer incorporates two separate units to make dishwashing more efficient. Each "drawer" requires half the energy to run and reduces the use of water. You can also match the cycle to the load (no more crystal glasses in the same heavy duty bin as pots and pans). Of course, the DishDrawer is Energy Star approved and I love that you customize the drawers to match your kitchen. But I personally have an issue with the plastic interiors, since I never put any plastic in the dishwasher. The precautionary principal is my personal guide, so I hope that they start dishing out some stainless racks as an alternative.
