For those of you who haven't heard, the incandescent light bulb is being phased out beginning in 2012.

"The incandescent light bulb, one of the most venerable inventions of its era but deemed too inefficient for our own, will be phased off the U.S. market beginning in 2012 under the new energy law just approved by Congress." In addition to saving energy, you can save $ too! CFLs are great. I have switched my incandescent bulbs to the spirals, and I am also using CFL floodlights.
