Overview

Nigerian-born Ifeoma Ikenze, MD, is a practitioner and national advocate for homeopathy.

Dr. Ikenze began her career as an allopathic (western) doctor and made the transition to homeopathic remedies after studying the teachings of Samuel Hahnemann, an 18th-century German physician who is the founder of modern homeopathy. Dr. Hahnemann believed that medical problems could be relieved by taking tiny doses of the natural substance that actually caused symptoms and he began extensive experiments on the curative properties of a wide variety of ingredients from the natural world.
