Environmentalist and Eco-friendly store owner opens up about the fututure of green living

Eco-friendly store owner and green blogger, Mark Caserta was kind enough to do an interview with me on the Environment and its future. Mark and his wife, Samantha Delman-Caserta, opened their Brooklyn store, 3R Living in Spring 2004. Initially I was impressed with the the web design of their online store (the former art student in me always looks for great design) but then I became more impressed Mark's knowledge of green living and his dedication to sustainable living.

What is the concept of the store and how was it created?

This "global war on terror" has provoked global outrage, political divide and massive confusion. Confusion that leads to questions, questions like "what is terrorism?"

Well according to a judge in Oregon, terrorism is a series of arsons created by a group of uncreative, unarticulate environmentalists and animal rights folk. These folks (nine individulas of the Earth Liberation Front that admittedly commited arson on industrial plants in 1985 as a way of communicating their concerns to the man) better thank their lucky stars that they are being tried under 1985 law, if this had happened in 2002, they'd be on some unmarked prison boat somewhere listening to neverending Brittany Spears at high volume, being denied the right of attorney or trial.

So what is terrorism? and what lines of communication are so muted that people looking to save the earth are blowing up buildings?

And then there's the one about the environmentalists who are building an Arc to rival Noah's to demonstrate the potential effects of Global Warming at the G-8 Summit in Turkey next month.
