Environment Help
I am currently in the process of becoming a Green Business. I believe it is important in both our personal and professional lives to be mindful the footprint we leave on this earth.
Philosophy
One of the things which drew me to Chinese Medicine was its emphasis on treating the whole person rather than just the symptom. Our history, lifestyle, environment and diet all play an important part in creating illness and imbalance in our bodies and offer important clues for healing.
I believe that my work with patients is a partnership. The work I do with the needles and herbs is only part of the healing process. Patient education and involvement are also important elements.
My 20 years of working with a wide variety of patiens, of helping people to heal themselves, and of witnessing remarkable recoveries to health and well-being, have increasingly convinced me of the power of this ancient medicine.
Special Interest
Women’s health concerns including fertility and menopause, stress, migraines, adjunctive cancer treatment (helps to deal with side effects of allopathic cancer treatment.) I am experienced with treating people who are “needlephobic” (since I was one, myself!)
Insurance Information
In general, I have a cash practice and will provide patients with a receipt which can be sent to their insurance companies for possible reimbursement. Many insurance companies have some acupuncture coverage. There are some companies for which I am a preferred provider and some which we do bill directly. Call for more information.

About My Practice (limit 200 words)
I work with people using Acupuncture and Chinese herbology to help alleviate pain and dysfunction and restore balance and health. I use a variety of therapies in my treatment including acupuncture, using disposable Japanese needles (which are the most comfortable), cupping, and electro-acupuncture. The herbs I use are in powder and pill form and easy to use.
