Yogis, join the "Get Your Feet Dirty" Campaign!
The Earth is our Mother and She is our only Home. We've got to learn to love her again. I mean really love her so much, that we'll do whatever we have to prevent her from dying. We save what we love.
So, I say, get your feet dirty. Spend more time in the natural world because we save what feels like "ours." Get off your mat, and on this earth that is our home. Practice your yoga on her and with her, in her forests, with deep meditative awareness, just like the first yogis did. Salute the sun, really. Actually, outside in the sun on the earth. See what happens inside you. See how your
heart gets touched, when you see the creator in everything and in yourself.
Visit the "spiritual activism" page on www.christinaforth.com to learn both things you can do externally in the world and internally in your heart to make an impact on saving our home.
Health Goals
Embodied Yoga Therapy (“EYT") is a healing therapy I practice in the Bay Area, along with public yoga classes and a private life coaching practice.
EYT blends classical yoga techniques with elements of
contemporary body-centered (talk) psychotherapy to
enable you to connect with your body’s deep wisdom
and to bring the insights gained from this experience
into action.
EYT combines active yoga poses, passive supported
poses, and dialogue to address both the emotional
and physical/structural issues you bring to your
session.

About Me (limit 200 words)
We all want a life that truly aligns with what matters most to us. We want to feel spacious, easeful and in harmony with the flow of life.
My desire is to share my years of practice, education, research and personal inquiry in a way that creates a nourishing, healing space for you to come into balance so that you can uncover your deepest gifts. The two best processes I have found for facilitating that journey are Hatha Yoga and the Hakomi method of self-discovery.
Each in their own way integrates mind, body and spirit, honors the inner wisdom of the individual, and generates breakthroughs that can have lasting impact on our bodies and our lives.
Whether we work together through yoga or Hakomi coaching, I will act as your guide, supporting you in affirming your worth, in being with your darkest shadows, and in listening to the wisdom within so that the life you are living is the life you want.
I look forward to seeing you soon in a yoga class in San Francisco or Marin or during a Hakomi Coaching session at my office in Mill Valley, California or by phone. www.christinaforth.com
