Philosophy
It’s time to expect more from your doctor. While in my clinic, I strived to be the type of doctor I would want for my own healthcare - someone who could put it all together for the patient, not just act independently as a partial picture of their health. I saw my role as a sort of holistic general practitioner, helping patients keep track of everything they were taking and doing so they didn’t end up doing conflicting treatments, as well as diagnosing the deeper causes of symptoms they were experiencing. For example, while your M.D. might diagnose hypothyroidism, I would look for the reasons why your thyroid was underperforming and treat that instead. Now, as an online specialist, I desire to take my viewpoint to a greater audience, providing help to even more people through common sense, alternative viewpoints, and the occasional humorous non sequitur to lighten the mood.
Whatever you have wrong with you, I’ve probably had it, too. If I haven’t had it myself, then I have treated patients with it, or a close friend or relative had it, or my cat had it. I operate by the K.I.S.S. method when it comes to health, because the truth is, with all the fancy new medical “breakthroughs” and FDA super control-freak double-blind nobody-knows-anything-about-anything studies (which, in case you haven’t noticed, doesn’t exist anywhere in the cosmos except within the world of the FDA), and Star Trek style medicines and treatments, the real key to health is pretty basic. Eat well, sleep well, move well and love well. Easier to preach than to do, but that really is our goal.
There is no one isolated part of your body that can exist and function without other parts being on the same team. If your doctor diagnoses you with something like, say ulcers, it doesn’t mean the problem exists only in your stomach. You have to wonder what allowed the H. Pylori bacteria to proliferate in the first place and look at why on earth you hold all your stress in your stomach instead of letting it go. While the USA has some of the finest emergency care available, we don’t rate very highly when it comes to taking basic care of ourselves in a healthy way. We are all more than the sum of our parts, and your healthcare plan should be the same.

About My Practice (limit 200 words)
As a chiropractor, acupuncturist, and nutritionist for the last 15 years, I offered boutique health care for individuals wanting to make changes in their own life and the lives of their family members. What the heck is boutique health care? It’s personalized care for people who want the best that’s out there, just like my favorite dress store. I now provide educational information and support via the web. Assuming they understand English, I can reach the world this way. This web thing is quite something, don’t you think?
