The map is not the territory

By julchr01 | May. 7, 2007 | 1 Comment|post a comment

People have what we refer to in NLP a map. This map is the way that a person defines their experience. Our experience is defined through our senses of visual pictures, sounds and feelings. If we are experiencing something that we would like to change then we must change our maps.

Look at your map as a roadmap of beliefs. These beliefs may come from a long, long time ago and yet still exist on your map. If you revise your map, you can revise your experience.
