“First, I would recommend incorporating lots of good, clean water.
"Water is very important, and clean water – good quality water – is most important. I would recommend looking for a good source, such as spring water – a natural artesian source is always best. And look for a glass bottle.
Plastics often release xenoestrogens, which as we know can cause a lot of imbalances on the endocrine system, for both males and females. So look for good, clean water, such as Voss, in a glass bottle. And drink lots of it every day.
“Secondly, I would recommend movement.
"And when I say movement, functional movement, movement that would include what our body’s designed to do: climbing, jumping, running, squatting, lifting. Not necessarily getting on a piece of gym equipment and squeezing your legs together or your arms together. Those are not what we would call functional movements, so definitely functional movement every day. Think about what you’re doing and incorporate it into your lifestyle at work.
“A third tip would be daily diet.
"Really look for foods that are full of nutrition. Phytonutrients and antioxidants are very important. Look at your food every day. Is it balanced? Are you eating a balance of healthy protein, carbohydrate and fat every time you eat? Balancing your macronutrients will help keep the stress level down from the stress response. So if you’re eating just a carbohydrate, just protein, or just fat, your body’s going to signal that it didn’t get what it needed – you didn’t balance.”
