Good tips, but does the post start off by saying that Channukah isn't as good as Christmas or did I just read that wrong? "While it doesn't compare... nonetheless..."

Yes, I meant "religious

Yes, I meant "religious importance." As I recall from my schooling at Temple Israel, I believe it is Yom kippur, Passover and Sukkot that are equivalent to what christmas represents - but hey, I'm just a "holiday jew":-)
