Allergies as a Symptom of Total Body Burden

Have you ever wondered why you have allergies and you siblings or friends don't? Think about allergies as a indicator button to your bodies total burden of toxins. No symptoms indicate the system is running fine. Increased symptoms indicates an overloaded system that is backed up causing runny nose, watery eyes, headaches and disturbed sleep.

Try reducing your body exposure to toxins at that time. Like limit the amount of alcohol your drink, particularly beer which has a larger allergy impact. If you take NSAIDS limit or better yet eliminate them. Eat less processed foods, lower your intake of wheat, sugar, dairy and corn products. They are the top allergenic foods. And as always, increase your intake of purified water.

If you are interested in finding out if you're having any delayed reactions to foods, have your health care provider run a IgG test. This is reveals more hidden food allergies often referred to as a "delayed food allergy". Because of the delay people don't usually associate the food with the symptom.

You can increase your bodies defense system by incorporating quercetin, vitamin C and digestive enzymes into your daily regime. And in the long run you can talk to an herbalist for recommendations on an appropriate immune tonic which will help your system run more efficiently during times of increased toxic exposure.

Good stuff

Its nice to hear the allergy-causing foods listed - corn being among them. We need to cut down on our intake of this mono-crop (read Michael Pollan's book - The Omnivore's Dilemna).
