In much anticipated hype, NBC is taking its green intitaive to the airwaves and incorporating eco-friendly programming into many of its most popular shows this week.It all kicks off on TODAY with Matt, Al, Ann and Meredith spanning the globe from the Artic Circle to NYC. NBC/Universal's Green Week may leave them open to criticism about their true commitment and motivations, but I applaud this concentrated focus on green which will spoon feed news and tips to an increasingly receptive mainstream audience. One peeve - sponsorship by Tide a most un-green product. Aren't greener sponsors available?
